POETRY AND PROSE SUBMISSION
follow the links to submit your work! the prompts will be reiterated in the form.
guidelines:
- POETRY: please submit up to THREE poems, totaling no more than FIVE pages of work, single spaced.
- PROSE: please submit no more than 1,000 words, single spaced.
-submit work as a PDF (.pdf) or Microsoft Word (.docx) file type.
-simultaneous submissions are allowed and eligible for publishing.
-do NOT put your name or identifying information on any page of your work, just in your form.
-works must be written in english, however terms/phrases in other languages are allowed given that there are corresponding translations in the work.
-by submitting, you verify that there was NO use of A.I. at all in the creation of your writing.
-by submitting your work, you verify that it is your own.
-authors retain rights when submitting.

here at laurel and nectar, we believe that words and art have power, and all creatives should be given an opportunity to share them. we want to highlight the hopefuls, the dreamers, the lovers, and the imaginative. we are a bunch of whimsical poets ourselves, so we love to highlight others in our community! from the greek mythological motifs that make up our namesake, we want to appreciate the magical and the mythical in the mundane. independently run, this is a passion project and an opportunity. submit to see your best work featured!
